Penn State Homecoming: Remembrance, reflection and revelry

Ross Lehman, a 1942 graduate of Penn State and executive secretary of the Penn State Alumni Association from 1970-83, once declared that “traditions give a university its heart and substance.” He could easily have been describing Homecoming, which represents some of the longest standing and most cherished University traditions. Penn State will kick off Homecoming Weekend 2015 with the traditional Homecoming Parade at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, and face off against Indiana University at noon on Saturday, Oct. 10.
