State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred Tuesday on the Kylertown-Drifting Highway in Morris Township. Further, a Mount Union man was traveling north near Interstate 80. At the same time, another vehicle was traveling southbound when it entered into the northbound lane and impacted the man’s vehicle, causing minor damage. The vehicle then continued traveling south. Neither injuries nor towing were reported, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an accident that occurred Tuesday on Vulcan Road in Bigler Township. Further, a Ramey man was traveling north when his vehicle exited the right edge of the roadway. He then overcompensated when attempting to re-enter the roadway, which caused him to lose control and skid off the right side. There, his vehicle impacted several small trees and overturned before coming to a rest. The man was wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about alleged damage that occurred to a vehicle while it was parked along Bridge Street. Upon investigation police found that someone had allegedly punctured the victim’s tires. Police located the actor who allegedly admitted to the act.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident that occurred along River Road. No injuries were reported and the vehicles were driven from the scene, police said.
- Police responded to Route 322 for a report about a dog that was running loose and causing a traffic hazard. Police responded and transported the dog to the Clearfield County SPCA.
- Police responded to East Locust Street for a report about kids who were allegedly being loud and damaging property. Police spoke to the individual who denied the allegation.
- Police received a report about a minor accident that occurred in the area of North Third and Bridge streets. Further, a vehicle was rear-ended, and the actor’s vehicle fled the scene. The accident remains under investigation, police said.
- Police located an unlocked door to a local business. Police were able to notify a key holder who would respond and secure the business.
- Police responded to Spruce Street for an elderly male who was walking around and appearing to be lost. Upon arrival police made contact with the male. Police were able to notify a family member about the incident.
- Police handled several parking complaints and vehicle lockouts.

- Police received a report about a civil custody issue.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Police received an animal complaint that occurred on Clarendon Avenue.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of impersonating an officer.
- Police received a report about suspicious persons at the Hillsdale Park.
- Police received a burning complaint on Turnpike Avenue.
Curwensville Borough
- Police located the owner of a vehicle title that was turned in on Friday.
- Police received a report from a parent who alleged her child had falsified an excuse to leave school early for an appointment that didn’t exist.
- Police arrested a Hyde woman Saturday for allegedly operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
- Police have initiated an investigation after apprehending several people in the Oak Hill Cemetery who were allegedly consuming alcohol, as well as using and possessing a controlled substance early Sunday morning.
