John E. Kosko, 93, formerly of DuBois, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at Christ the King Manor
Born Nov. 11, 1921 in Helvetia, he was the son of the late George and Catherine (Ference) Kosko.
He was married to Beverly (Bellingham) Kosko. She preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 2000
He retired from United Parcel Service (UPS) as a driver.
He was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed sports and politics, as well as attending his grandchildren’s events and activities.
He is survived by a son, David Kosko and his wife, Shelly of DuBois; two sisters, Margaret Clark of Allen Park, Mich., and Dorothy Meholick of North Tonawanda, NY; a brother, Richard Kosko of Mitchellville, Md.; and two grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Kosko.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry and Joseph Kosko.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
