Barbara A. Scott, 66, of Osceola Mills died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at her home.
Born May 14, 1949 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Ilean A. (Weld) Harvey of Philipsburg and the late Charles A. Harvey Sr.
She married Robert Hendershot on Aug. 20, 1966 in Clearfield. He preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1969. S
She married Robert W. Scott on Oct. 10, 1970 in Houtzdale. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1997.
Mrs. Scott was Christian by faith. She was a retired caregiver.
In addition to her father and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Harvey.
Along with her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Melissa Hallman and her companion, Jeramia of Osceola Mills and Linda Butterworth and her husband, Kristopher of Sandy Ridge and three sons, Randy Hendershot and his companion, Deb and Robert Hendershot, both of Philipsburg, and Terry Scott and his wife, Tonya of Sandy Ridge.
She is survived by a sister, Naomia Caprio and her husband, Joe of Philipsburg and three brothers, Charles A. Harvey Jr. and his wife, Rose of Clearfield, Ronald Harvey and his wife, Bonnie of Osceola Mills and Dennis Harvey Sr. and his wife, Lorna of State College.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Ashley and Tara Hendershot, Natalie McClinick, Michael and Brittney Scott, Preston Elrich, Kristen Butterworth, Ryan and Casey Hallman and two great-grandchildren, Patinance Gearhart and Sage Clutter.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Dr. Mary Jo Bruinooge officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
