State police at Philipsburg
- An accident occurred Saturday on Centre Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, two vehicles were traveling northbound when one operator stopped for traffic at a red light. However, the other operator was unable to come to a complete stop and hit its rear bumper. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts, and no injuries were reported, state police said.
- An incident of harassment occurred Sunday on Ammerman Road in Union Township. During the incident, two Julian residents allegedly engaged in an altercation. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between Friday and Monday on West Laurel Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly broke multiple glass block windows. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of simple assault occurred sometime between Sept. 1 and Sept. 4 at a Milesgrove Road residence in Huston Township. Centre County Children & Youth Services received a report about an alleged assault involving a 34-year-old woman and the victim, a 5-year-old girl. The incident remains under investigation, state police said.
- An incident of disorderly conduct occurred Monday on North Ninth Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a Philipsburg boy was allegedly lighting notebook paper on fire and throwing it out of the window of his residence. He was charged through the district court, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between Sept. 10 and Monday on Cherry Road in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed two chairs from the victim’s property; the chairs are valued at $100. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of South Third Street and Ogden Avenue.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police responded to a parking complaint along East Market Street. A parking ticket was issued to the owner of the vehicle, police said.
- Police responded to a report about a suspicious vehicle that had been sitting in a parking lot of a business. Officers found that the vehicle was allegedly stolen from Erie City; they secured the vehicle for processing.
- Police were contacted about assisting with serving an emergency custody order of a child. Officers were on standby while the custodial parent obtained the child without incident.
- Police responded to an alleged verbal domestic dispute in the area of Elm Avenue and South Seventh Street. However, the male fled prior to police arrival.
- Officers assisted Morris-Cooper police with serving a warrant. The female was located and taken into custody without incident, police said.
- Officers assisted a Constable with serving a warrant. The female was located and able to pay the warrant in full, police said.
- Officers assisted fire personnel with a car fire along Dorey Street.
- Police received a report about alleged unauthorized charges on the victim’s credit card. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
- Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a local business. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a civil issue. It involved services completed on a piece of equipment for which the owner hadn’t paid the bill. Police referred the report to the magistrate’s office.
- Police received a report about an alleged truancy from the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School. During the incident, a known male juvenile left school property, police said.
- Police received a report about an abandoned vehicle in Glen Richey.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of access device fraud. Further, someone allegedly used the victim’s credit cards at a local business. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
- Police served a warrant on a person for stalking and harassment. The person was put in the Clearfield County Jail to await their preliminary hearing, police said.
- Police received a report about alleged drug activity at a local restaurant.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male at a business on Route 879. However, the male fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Curwensville Borough
- Police transported a Curwensville man to the CCJ on Friday. He had warrants for his arrest and was allegedly in possession of controlled substances.
- Police cited a Houtzdale man for disorderly conduct and harassment after an alleged assault incident Friday at a Fredericka Street residence.
- Police put a Curwensville woman in the CCJ after an alleged incident of public drunkenness on Friday.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with an unresponsive person on Norris Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct in the area of Swoope Street over the weekend.
