State police at Clearfield
- An incident of underage drinking occurred Sunday on McDowell Road in Bradford Township. During the incident, state police responded to an alleged disturbance and determined three juveniles had consumed alcohol. All three were charged through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of DUI occurred on McDowell Road in Bradford Township. Further, a 27-year-old Clearfield man was allegedly operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed through the district court, state police said.
- A hit-and-run accident occurred Saturday on the Curwensville-Tyrone Highway in Pike Township. Kyle Deluccia of Curwensville was traveling south and too fast for roadway conditions. His vehicle exited the roadway via the west berm and impacted a guiderail with its passenger’s side. His vehicle then traveled across the roadway and along the embankment with its driver’s side before crossing the roadway and striking the guiderail again with its front end. Deluccia then fled the scene. State police located Deluccia and charged him with numerous traffic violations through the district court.
- An accident occurred Sunday on Shiloh Road south of Doc Welker Road in Bradford Township. Misti Jordan of Clearfield was traveling south when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve in the roadway. Her vehicle traveled onto the east berm and impacted with a large tree. Jordan was transported to the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Jordan was cited for the accident.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of harassment occurred Friday in the 100 block of Winesap Road in Port Matilda. During the incident, the victim and accused allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. The accused allegedly bit the victim on the arm, state police said.
- An incident of access device fraud occurred sometime between July 27 and Aug. 25 in the 200 block of North Centre Street in Philipsburg. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access to the victim’s debit/check card and made several purchases, totaling more than $4,000. The incident remains under investigation, state police said.
State police at Punxsutawney
- An incident of retail theft occurred Sunday at the Wal-Mart in Punxsutawney. During the incident, someone allegedly took an electronic toothbrush and four electronic razors, totaling approximately $1,085. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Punxsutawney at 814-776-6136.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received reports on three, different bad check incidents at a local establishment. The incidents remains under investigation with charges pending, police said.
- A wallet was located along Route 879 and turned into police. Since the wallet was located within the township’s jurisdiction, the wallet was turned over to Lawrence Township police.
- Police responded to an alleged verbal domestic dispute near the intersection of Nichols Street and Turnpike Avenue.
- While on patrol, police located two males who were allegedly causing a disturbance along North Third Street near Bridge Street. The males were advised to cease their actions, as they would be cited for disorderly conduct. Citations were filed against the males, police said.
- Police responded to a welfare check of a resident along Dorey Street. Contact was made and the male appeared to be OK and not in need of assistance, police said.
- Police responded to a Merrill Street residence for an alleged domestic dispute. Both parties were separated and warned for their actions, police said.
- Police responded to the area of North Third and Bridge streets for a psychological emergency. Upon arrival officers made contact with the patient who was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications. The actor was contacted and advised to either cease their actions or charges would be filed, police said.
- While on patrol, officers located a female at a local establishment known to hold an active warrant. Contact was made with the female who was able to pay the warrant in full, police said.
- Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along Reed Street. After failing a standard field sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody for DUI and transported to the hospital for a blood draw. Charges are pending the blood draw results, police said.
- Police were called to a local business for a syringe that was allegedly located in the parking lot. The syringe was collected and properly disposed of by police.
- Police responded to an alleged verbal domestic dispute along South Fourth Street. However, the male was gone upon officers’ arrival to the scene. Officers advised the female to call if he returned and police were needed.
- Police received a complaint about an ex-fiancé who was allegedly taking items during a break-up. Police found that the incident was civil in nature; however, the ex-fiancé agreed to return some items.
- Police responded to a vehicle lockout along Daisy Street. Officers were able to gain entry without damage.
- Police responded to an East Market Street residence for a report about an unknown person who was standing on the caller’s front porch. However, the person was gone upon arrival, police said.

- Police received a report about an alleged theft in the Glen Richey area.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute in the Antes Hill Road area.
- Police responded to check the welfare of a person in the Weaver Street Extension area.
- Police responded to check the welfare of a person in the Lawrence Park Village area.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the Daisy Street area.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of loitering and prowling in the Good Street area.
- Police received a report about an alarm in the Byers Street area.
- Police received a burning complaint on Clarendon Avenue.
- Police received a report about dogs that were inside a vehicle at Wal-Mart. Upon arrival police found that the dogs weren’t in any distress.
- Police received a report about a mixing Boxer in the Bowman’s Hill Road area.
- Police received a report about an alleged Protection from Abuse order violation.
- Police received a report about a missing child.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute. Police handled the incident at the scene.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with searching a building that was found unsecured.
- Clearfield Emergency Medical Services were assisted with a psychological emergency on South Second Street.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment Friday on East Second Avenue. Further, the complainant told police that a neighbor used obscene language toward them over cameras on their property. Police handled the incident at the scene.
- Police received a report about a 911 hang-up call Friday in the 500 block of South Main Street. Upon investigation police found it was an accidental dial.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment Friday on East Scribner Avenue. Further, the complainant told police that a known male keeps stopping at the residence and they don’t want to be bothered anymore. Police contacted the male and advised him to cease contact.
- On Friday police were flagged down for a medical emergency at the Perkins restaurant. As a result, police requested emergency personnel to respond for a disoriented female.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle Friday in the area of the intersection of New and DuBois streets. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about a vehicle accident involving a bicyclist Friday on North Main Street. A vehicle was heading toward the North Main Street exit of the Giant Eagle parking lot. At the same time, a juvenile male riding a bicycle rode into its path. He was riding on the sidewalk and failed to stop or see the approaching vehicle. The juvenile was checked by medics at the scene, and only had minor injuries, police said.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident Friday at the intersection of North Brady Street and East Park Avenue. A second vehicle, which was involved, left the scene but returned a short time later, police said. Police assisted the drivers with the exchange of information and then cleared the scene.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a juvenile female Friday at the intersection of South State Street and Spring Avenue. A caller told dispatchers that a male who was on a scooter was allegedly yelling at a little girl, and she appeared to be trying to get away from him. Officers made contact with the male and his daughter on Dixon Avenue. Police learned that the juvenile didn’t return home after school, and he had gone to her friend’s residence to bring her home. Police said the father apologized for the incident but was concerned for his daughter’s safety.
- Police received a report about a male who jumped from a vehicle Friday on College Avenue. A caller said he was providing transportation from the bus station to Just for Jesus for a male who was allegedly intoxicated and jumped out of the vehicle while stopped in traffic. A second call was received about the male who was allegedly attempting to flag down motorists at the intersection of East DuBois Avenue and Division Street. Police located the male who was under the influence and transported him to the jail.
- Police received a report about an alleged retail theft Friday at the Family Dollar Store. Witnesses told police that a known male took items from the store without paying for them. The suspect then got into a black passenger vehicle and left the scene. The male will be cited for the incident, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle Friday in the 500 block of Knarr Street. Upon arrival police were advised that someone had damaged the vehicle while it was parked on West Washington Avenue. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
Sandy Township
- The owner of the Brady Street Car Wash alleged that sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 7, someone took Mig Welder, sawsall and a grinder from the storage shed at the car wash. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
- A 52-year-old alleged Friday that he was being threatened by his girlfriend’s brother-in-law. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Treasure Lake Security turned over a stray poodle to police. The dog was found in the area of Basse Terra Road.
- A 74-year-old Falls Creek woman reported that when she was parking her vehicle in the DuBois Mall parking lot on Saturday she hit a wheelchair lift on a vehicle that was already parked. Officers gave the woman’s information to the other vehicle’s owner. No damage or injuries were reported, police said.
- A 68-year-old Hungry Hollow Road man reported loud vehicles in front of his house on Saturday. The vehicles were gone upon officers’ arrival.
- On Saturday employees of the Blinker Sheetz turned over to police a small bag containing a white substance that was allegedly found on the floor of the store.
- While on patrol, officers found an open door at the FedEx building. However, nothing suspicious was found, police said.
- On Sunday a 67-year-old West Long Avenue woman reported that someone was possibly in her yard after hearing whistling and her outdoor sensor lights activating. Upon arrival officers searched the area but could not locate anyone.
- On Sunday an 18-year-old Treasure Lake man reported that there had been a strange vehicle being driven by his house. Officers could not locate the vehicle.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at a Treasure Lake residence on Sunday.
- A 20-year-old DuBois woman alleged Sunday that she was being harassed by her son’s great-grandmother when she came out of Wal-Mart. Officers handled the situation without incident.
