CLEARFIELD – Michele Fannin and Martha Tylwalk of the Clearfield Area United Way campaign team are among the volunteers who have started preparing letters for the upcoming fall Community Campaign.

This year’s campaign will help to support 24 local member agencies throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County. This year’s goal is $245,500.

“We hope everyone in the communities we serve will make a donation to help us continue to reach out and help others,” said Fannin.

“If you don’t receive a letter, we hope you will still help us by mailing a tax deductible donation to: United Way, 18 N. Second St., Suite 4, P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830.”

The CAUW campaign kick-off luncheon is slated for 12 p.m. Oct. 14 at the St. Charles Café Dining Room in Clearfield. Superintendent Terry Struble of Clearfield Area Schools is the keynote speaker.

An orientation of campaign volunteers will be held in the next few weeks.
