A super PAC supporting Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign released a video Thursday attacking Donald Trump by tying his views to Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, the most recent salvo in Bush’s and his allies’ aggressive push against Trump.
Right to Rise’s video accuses Trump and Clinton of representing “two sides of the same liberal coin,” and flips between images of the two espousing similar views on the economy, abortion, health care and taxes. On many issues, Trump has disavowed his liberal views included in the video, although he recently called for an increase in taxes on hedge fund managers.
The video, which is highly produced but does not have a television or digital ad buy behind it at this time, is part of an offensive strategy Bush and supportive groups like Right to Rise have adopted against Trump in recent weeks.
