CLEARFIELD – The paintings of Marilyn McGarvey Selfridge are now on exhibit at LHU Clearfield, and the public is invited to view.
Selfridge, a Clearfield resident and former teacher, taught as a reading specialist in Clearfield for eight years. She earned a Master’s of Education from Penn State.
Her love of painting began in the eighth grade and now holds Grandma Moses as an inspiration. Her exhibit features landscapes, floral designs and people.
LHU Clearfield is proud to partner with the Susquehanna River Arts Council on various exhibits, which are always open to the public. Different artists will be featured during the exhibits throughout the year.
Founders’ Hall is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Fridays.
