As businessman Donald Trump’s campaign has heated up, so has his criticism of fellow Republican candidate Jeb Bush. And the former Florida governor is not afraid to hit back at the reality TV star.
In recent months the candidates have been exchanging insults during campaign events and press conferences.
In June, Trump said that Bush couldn’t “negotiate his way out of a paper bag.”
“I don’t think he represents the Republican party,” Bush said of Trump in July, questioning Trump’s record as a conservative.
Bush has gone on to criticize Trump’s rhetoric and immigration policy. Trump has hit back by touting his position at the top of the polls and calling Bush “low energy.”
“For him, to get things done is hard,” Trump said earlier this month.
