Geraldine Marie “Mother Rauch” Rauch, 86, of Curwensville died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born Feb. 1, 1929 in Kerrmoor, she was the daughter of Powell and Mabel (Rummings) Harnish Sr.
Mrs. Rauch was a homemaker. She was retired from Bayer Clothing Group in Fletcherville after having worked on the cutting floor. She was United Methodist by faith.
She had wed Irvin Rauch on Aug. 10, 1946 and who preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1972. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Claudette Rauch; and a brother, Powell Harnish Jr.
Surviving are a daughter, Sherry L. Rauch of Curwensville and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Keewaydin Cemetery in Karthaus with the Rev. George W. Solley officiating.
At the request of Mrs. Rauch, there will be no public visitation.
The family suggests contributions be made in Mrs. Rauch’s name to the Orphans of the Storm, 412 Hill St., Curwensville, PA 16833.
