Dylan Young, 31, of Falls Creek died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at his home.
Born Aug. 25, 1983 in Galveston, Texas, he was the son of Darrell D. Shifflett and Pamela Lynn Young. His parents survive.
He was a welder and repairman at RESCAR in DuBois and was a licensed contractor.
He was a 2002 graduate of the DuBois High School and attended the Pennsylvania State University.
Most important to him was his son, Cole, family, and coaching Little League. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bikes and spending time with his fiancée, Melissa M. Castro and her children, Keaton, Addison and Anthony.
He was also a member of the Falls Creek Eagles Aerie No. 865.
In addition to his parents and fiancée, he is survived by his son, Cole Payne Young.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Eric Young.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Fr. Matis Quinmo and Pastor David Neagele co-officiating.
