DUBOIS – A group of new students from the Penn State DuBois campus will conduct a clean-up and weeding party at the Liberty Boulevard Embankment this Friday.
It will take place from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Part of new student orientation includes a portion of the day dedicated to community service and engagement.
The embankment was chosen for its high profile location close to the campus; weeding it makes a big impression on visitors and residents of the area.
Anyone from the community is encouraged to attend and help out, as well. There are a variety of areas to weed for all fitness levels.
