Trio of Spikes shut out Crosscutters for win

Jacob Evans, Max Almonte and Steven De La Cruz teamed up to shut the Williamsport Crosscutters out on four hits, and the State College Spikes gained a game on the Crosscutters in the New York-Penn League Pinckney Division standings with a 5-0 win on Wednesday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
