Hillary Clinton got an opportunity to talk pay equity Tuesday at a Las Vegas town hall when a young girl asked her about how her pay if she’s elected president might stack up to her all-male predecessors.
“Do you think when you are president you will be paid as much if you were a male?” the girl asked.
Clinton responded: “This is one of the jobs where they have to pay you the same. But there are so many examples where that doesn’t happen.”
The Democratic frontrunner has made equal pay across gender lines a plank of her 2016 campaign.
