INDONESIA PLANE CRASH
Debris spotted?: Indonesian searchers believe they have located debris from an airliner that crashed yesterday with 54 people on board. Authorities said villagers in a remote area of eastern Papua province reported seeing the passenger plane crash into a mountain. A search plane spotted the wreckage today, and a ground team is trying to reach it, officials said.

Free or not?: After serving 10 months for fatally shooting his girlfriend, Oscar Pistorius may be freed this week to correctional supervision. If a court decides to release him, he will only have served part of his five-year sentence for killing Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day in 2013.
AT&T and NSA
Partners in sharing?: AT&T worked for decades in a close “partnership” with the National Security Agency to retrieve information about billions of emails. That’s according to a report by the New York Times and ProPublica, citing NSA documents obtained from former agency contractor Edward Snowden.
TRUMP TALKS IMMIGRATION
Then off to jury duty: Donald Trump goes in for jury duty today. But yesterday, he released his most detailed account yet on how he planned to fix the country’s immigration system. He said he would overturn a law that grants citizenship to people born in the U.S. and also explained for the first time how he will force Mexico to pay for a wall on its border with the U.S.
SYRIA AIRSTRIKES
Dozens killed: Airstrikes from Syrian government forces hit the rebel-held town of Douma yesterday, killing as many as 82 people and wounding hundreds, according to aid groups. Graphic video purporting to show the aftermath of the blast depicted massive plumes of smoke, bodies strewn on the street, and people frantically running for their lives.
