Betsy V. Andryka, 61, of DuBois died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at her home.
Born May 5, 1954 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Boyd W. Vokes Sr. and Deloris H. (Hummell) Vokes. Her mother survives and lives in Clearfield.
On May 8, 1976, she married William “Bill” Andryka. He survives.
Mrs. Andryka was a senior tax advisor at H&R Block for more than 20 years. Prior to that, she worked as a certified lab technician at the Clearfield Hospital.
She enjoyed going to flea markets and camping. She was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved to travel and was a scholar of the arts, culture and food.
She is survived by her son, Aaron Andryka and his wife, Courtney of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and a brother, Boyd W. Vokes Jr. and his wife, Sherry of Curwensville.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home. A private family service will be held from the funeral home.
