Donald Trump tweets: Carly Fiorina gives him ‘a massive headache’

Add Carly Fiorina to the list of the targets of Donald Trump’s Twitter outbursts.

The former Hewlett-Packard executive hit Trump in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” on Sunday saying that “women understood” he was referring to menstruation when Trump said Megyn Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her — wherever” after Thursday night’s GOP debate.

Hours later, the real estate mogul swung back Sunday afternoon, making her the latest victim of his social media attacks.

Trump tweeted: “I just realized that if you listen to Carly Fiorina for more than ten minutes straight, you develop a massive headache. She has zero chance!”

CNN has asked Fiorina’s campaign for its response to Trump’s tweet.

Fiorina didn’t make the cut for Thursday’s prime-time debate, which was limited to the top 10-polling Republican presidential candidates. But she was touted as the breakout star of a 5 p.m. debate for the seven other candidates.

“I started out as a secretary. And as I made my way up in the business world, a male-dominated business world, I’ve had lots of men imply that, um — I was unfit for decision-making because maybe I was having my period. So I’ll say it, OK?” Fiorina said.

“When I started this campaign, I was asked on a national television show whether a woman’s hormones prevented her from serving in the Oval Office,” she added later. “My response was, can we think of a single instance in which a man’s hormones might have clouded his judgment?”
