The impact fees gathered from Marcellus gas drillers from last year’s production amounted to approximately $223.5 million, about $2 million less than last year. Over the past four years, the Pennsylvania Utility Commission has collected and distributed more than $855 million in impact fees to counties, municipalities, selected state agencies and the Marcellus Legacy Fund.
