State police at Clearfield
- A hit-and-run accident occurred Monday on Heavenly Boulevard in Beccaria Township. Further, a vehicle exited the roadway and impacted cement blocks, causing damage to a fire pit. The vehicle continued traveling off of the roadway and re-entered on Crossroads Boulevard.
- On Tuesday a Stonington, Conn., woman was allegedly stopped for a traffic violation on Interstate 80 eastbound in Lawrence Township. She was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance during the traffic stop. She was subsequently arrested for the possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Charges will be filed through the district court, state police said.
State police at DuBois
- A protection from abuse order violation occurred Sunday on North Park Street in Sykesville Borough. During the incident, a known DuBois man allegedly contacted the victim several times when he was not permitted to do so, according to court documents. The man was taken into custody and charges will be filed through the district court, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a lost wallet at the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. It contained a male’s driver’s license and credit card. Police described it as a thin, single-fold, brown leather wallet. Anyone who finds the wallet is asked to contact township police.
- Police received a report about two individuals who were wanted on local traffic warrants and for retail theft.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male at Wal-Mart. Police transported another male to the jail on domestic warrant.
- Police received a report about a lost, stolen or mislaid wallet.
- Police received a call about the previous warrant issues.
- Police received a call about child custody issues.
- Police received an animal call about a dead deer on Route 879.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation on Route 879.
- Police received a report about an alarm on Daisy Street Extension. Upon arrival police checked the business and found everything to be OK.
