CCCTC Announces New Executive Director

CLEARFIELD – Officials at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center have announced Elizabeth Frankhouser as the school’s newly selected executive director.

Frankhouser will be overseeing career and technical education and be responsible for the daily operation of the facility, faculty and staff.

Frankhouser joins the CCCTC team from the Northern Tier Career Center located in Towanda.  She brings with her 10 years of career and technical education administrative experience and 10 years of tenured teaching experience.

She is a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Industrial Education, and a Master of Science in Workforce Education and Development.

Frankhouser attended the West Branch Area School District and graduated from the Philipsburg-Osceola Area School District in 1987.  She also attended and successfully completed her studies as a Cosmetology student at the CCCTC, during this time.

She will transition to full-time employment at the CCCTC by the closing of September. She indicated, “I am enthusiastic to bring the skills and knowledge back to my hometown and be afforded the opportunity to educate our youth”.

Harmony Superintendent, Dr. Jill Dillion, who is the current Superintendent of Record for the CCCTC, avers that she and the superintendents of the other five partnering school districts look forward to a very positive working relationship with the new executive director.

Dillon adds that it is a distinct pleasure to welcome home a former student who has been successful in developing such a strong background in Career and Technical Education.
