Denny’s Delivers 155-Pound Burger to Parade Attendees

CLEARFIELD – Weaver Street resident Ron Lizotte wanted to do “something big” for attendees of the Clearfield County Fair’s firemen’s parade on Monday Night.

Lizotte called upon Denny Liegey, owner of Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub to create a big burger. Liegey said that in honor of the 155th Clearfield County Fair, he, along with his staff, created a 155-pound burger.

According to Liegey, it took two days to prepare the big burger.  He said that it weighed in at exactly 155 pounds with 100 pounds of burger, 38 pounds of bun, 10 pounds of vegetables and 7 pounds of cheese.
