Spikes’ bats held at bay in loss to Vermont

Josh Swirchak produced his second consecutive multi-hit game, but the State College Spikes were held to just four hits as a team and fell to the Vermont Lake Monsters, 3-0, on Wednesday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
