DUBOIS – District Judge Patrick Ford of DuBois presided over preliminary hearings July 24.
Charges against the following defendant were withdrawn.
- Kelly Lynn Kemerer, 49, DuBois, had been charged by the DuBois City police with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief.
The following defendants entered guilty pleas.
- Delona J. Bowser, 26, DuBois, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bowser was ordered to pay $672.50 in fines and costs and to serve six months on probation.
- Joshua Lee Banks, 31, an inmate at the Clearfield County Jail pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Banks was ordered to pay $572.50 in fines and costs.
- Jeana Marie Lockwood, 52, Brockway, pleaded guilty to failure to obey traffic control devices and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock system. Lockwood was ordered to pay $677.50 in fines and costs.
- Justin Blade Allen, 24, DuBos, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. A charge of public drunkenness was withdrawn. Allen was ordered to pay $622.50 in fines and costs and to serve six months on probation.
- Zachary Scott Ruhl, 28, Penfield, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. Charges of possession of instruments of crime, criminal mischief and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked were withdrawn. Ruhl was ordered to pay $1,847.78 in fines, costs and restitution and serve six months on probation.
The following defendants waived their rights to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.
- Edward Philip Veltre, 28, an inmate in the Green County Jail, is charged by the Sandy Township police with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, accidents involving damage to vehicles or property, driving without a license and reckless driving. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
- Bryce Marvin, 20, Reyoldsville, is charged by the Sandy Township police with conspiracy to possess a controlled substance and conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.
- Dylan Tapper, 18, Reynoldsville, is charged with conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia, fleeing or attempting to elude police, careless driving, reckless driving and three summary traffic charges. Bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.
- Barry A. Desalve Jr., an inmate at the Clearfield County Jail, is charged by the Sandy Township police with assault, harassment, terroristic threats and intimidation of a witness/victim. Bail was set at $25,000 monetary.
- Trevor Ray Wilson, 31, DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with fleeing or attempting to elude police, recklessly endangering another person, speeding, careless driving, reckless driving and six summary traffic charges. Bail was set at $25,000 unsecured.
