DUBOIS – Last night members of the DuBois City Council released information regarding those who are currently shut off from the water system.
In March there were 800 people who were qualifying for shut offs with a total due to the city of $70,432.58.
As of Monday, City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio said that only six properties were shut off with a seventh pending for a total of $1,726.27.
Of the six, Suplizio said that some appeared like people weren’t actively living on the properties.
Council also noted that the DuBois City Reservoir will be dedicated Aug. 5 at 4:30 p.m. U.S. Rep. Glen “GT” Thompson will be speak at the event.
