CLEARFIELD – District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of July 27.

Shaw identified the fugitive as Destiny Gasbarre, 26, of Rumbarger Avenue, Dubois. Gasbarre is wanted in two, separate cases for failure to appear at a Pre-trial Conference held on July 16.

On Feb. 6, 2015, Officer Travis Goodman of the Sandy Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint against Gasbarre. He charged Gasbarre with multiple counts of forgery, F3; access device fraud, M2; theft by unlawful taking, M2; and receiving stolen property, M3.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Oct. 3, 2014, the victim alleged to police that her check card had been stolen. Upon investigation police found that Gasbarre had used the check card to make numerous purchases at several different locations. The total amount charged to the account was $2,877.83.

A preliminary hearing was held on March 13, at which time all charges were held to court. On July 16, Gasbarre failed to appear at a Pre-trial Conference and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

In a separate case, Corporal Orlando Prosper of the Dubois City Police Department filed a criminal complaint on Feb. 12. He charged Gasbarre with: receiving stolen property, M3.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Oct. 18, 2014, police were dispatched to a home located on Brady Street for an alleged burglary. Upon investigation police found that Gasbarre had been in possession of currency removed from the home.

A preliminary hearing was held on March 13, at which time all charges were held to court. On July 16, Gasbarre failed to appear at a Pre-trial Conference, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Gasbarre is described as a Caucasian female standing 5 feet, 1-inch tall. She has blue eyes and brown hair.
