Police: Charges Pending Against Assault Suspect Whose Tooth Gets Lodged in Victim

DUBOIS – Charges are currently pending against a female whose tooth became lodged in the victim’s face while she was committing an alleged assault Saturday in the 200 block of West Long Avenue, according to the DuBois City police.

Upon arrival police found that the female suspect was walking in front of the bar when she allegedly assaulted two females. She allegedly grabbed the first victim by the hair and slammed her head off the ground.

When the victim was dazed on the ground the female suspect allegedly bit her in the face. The female lost a tooth during the assault, when it allegedly became lodged in the victim’s face, police say.

Police say that the second victim attempted to stop the assault but was allegedly knocked to the ground by the female suspect and struck her head on the sidewalk.

Witnesses alerted police to the location of the female suspect after she fled the scene. She was located after police checked several apartments.
