Harold R. Hubler, 86, of Osceola Mills died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
Born May 31, 1929 in Morrisdale, he was the son of the late Kenneth R. and Aleathia M. (Maguire) Hubler.
He married the former Teresa Socash on Jan. 27, 1950 in Philipsburg. She survives at home.
Mr. Hubler was of the Christian faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Osceola Mills VFW No. 5020 and the Philipsburg AMVETS No. 159. He was also a member of the Decatur Township Planning Commission.
He was an owner/operator of a number of former local businesses, including a logging company; H & T Coal Company and the D & L Diner with his wife, Teresa. He was the owner/operator of 53 Energies, Osceola Mills.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hubler was preceded in death by: a daughter, Linda Rae Yebernetsky and and a brother, Calvin Hubler.
Along with his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Diane M. Colley of Indiana, Pa., Terrilee Millard and her husband, Gerald of Philipsburg, Danielle A. Bojalad of DuBois and Melanie D. Pryde and her husband, Chris of Osceola Mills and a son, Rick H. Hubler and his wife, Darlene of Osceola Mills.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary Askey and her husband, Fred of Philipsburg and Betty Merritt and Gertrude Ferguson, both of Morrisdale.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Michelle Colley, Melissa Colley, Megan Colley, Bobby Yebernetsky and his wife, Mandee, Heather Hayward and her husband, Larry, Tyler Hubler and his fiancée, Briana Wisor, Devin Millard, Justin Millard, Ryan Frank, Jalen Pryde, Mason Pryde and Lowman Pryde; three great-grandchildren, Lucas, Brook and Aubrey; and a son-in-law, Robert Yebernetsky of Ramey.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Military honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
