State police at Clearfield
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between Sunday and Tuesday on Walnut Street in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly forcibly entered the victim’s residence and removed a drill, a whip and tools to finish drywall. The incident remains under investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime Tuesday or Wednesday on McAteer Street in Houtzdale Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly cut the driver’s side front and rear tires on the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Punxsutawney
- An incident of assault/harassment occurred Tuesday on North Camp Road in Chest Township. During the incident, a male and female allegedly engaged in an argument and subjected each other to unwanted physical contact. Both were cited for the incident as a result, state police said.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about an alleged altercation between two males Monday at Irvin Park. One male was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment, police said.
- Police apprehended a male who was allegedly found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia Monday at Irvin Park.
- Police allegedly found an Olanta man to be operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop Tuesday.
Sandy Township
- On Monday a 46-year-old DuBois woman reported that while backing out of a parking space in the Wal-Mart parking lot, she hit a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Force woman. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, police said.
- On Monday a woman alleged that while visiting a neighbor, her 10-year-old granddaughter was harassed by a 29-year-old man. She told police that after the girl tried to trip the man he got frustrated and grabbed the girl and would not let go. Police handled the situation without incident.
- Police responded to an Edminston Road residence for an alleged verbal domestic dispute on Monday. Police handled the situation without incident.
- Police received a report about individuals who were allegedly soliciting money Monday along Bee Line Highway. Police located the individuals who dispersed from the area.
- Police received a report about a dog left in a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Monday. However, the vehicle was gone upon police arrival to the scene.
- A 33-year-old DuBois man reported that someone hit his vehicle while it was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Tuesday.
- On Tuesday Treasure Lake employees alleged that someone broke into a maintenance shed and caused approximately $100 worth of damage to the door.
- A 50-year-old Circle Road woman alleged that her 53-year-old husband had been drinking and was causing a disturbance. Police handled the situation without incident.
