CLEARFIELD – Three employees of CNB Bank, Donna Collins, David Ogden and Carolyn Smeal, were recognized for serving 40 years in the banking industry at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA) Spring Summit Group 6 meeting held at the Calvin House in Duncansville.
The 40-Year Club consists of bankers completing 40 or more years of service in Pennsylvania’s banking industry and who are regular members of the PBA.
“These individuals have helped to grow and shape this organization into what it is today,” stated Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank. “They show true dedication to their work and I am very proud that they continue to be a part of the CNB family.”
Collins began her banking career with CNB in 1975. Throughout her career, she has held positions in data processing and proof. She was receptionist/secretary, administrative assistant, assistant compliance officer, assistant vice president/compliance and most recently was promoted to vice president/regulation & examination in 2014.
Ogden began his banking career at CNB as a teller in 1975. Throughout his career, he has held positions in loans, building and grounds, credit administration and collections. He’s held the positions of administrative assistant and compliance officer and is currently vice president/collections.
Smeal also began her banking career at CNB in 1975 in the data processing department. Throughout her career, she’s held the positions of customer information system administrator, operations officer and is currently assistant vice president/deposit operations.
All three of these individuals have dedicated much of their time to the community. They’ve volunteered their expertise and time to numerous Clearfield area organizations over the years and continue to be active in our community.
The Pennsylvania Bankers Association, located in Harrisburg, is the state’s major banking trade association representing an expansive and diverse membership. The association offers extensive continuing education programs, government relations representation on behalf of the industry, and provides numerous products and services for banks and their employees.
