DUBOIS – District Judge Patrick Ford of DuBois presided over Preliminary Hearings July 10.
The following defendants waived their right to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.
- Gregory Joel Carbett, 38, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with retail theft. Bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.
- Joseph Andrew Richtarsic, an inmate at the Clearfield County Jail, is charged by the Sandy Township police with assault and harassment. Bail was set at $1,000 monetary.
- Scott Charles Sharp, 41, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, careless driving, public drunkenness, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, and two summary traffic charges. Bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.
- Matthew Wayne Pearson II, 19, an inmate at the Clearfield County Jail, is charged by the DuBois City police with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or possess a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
