The highly-anticipated companion series to “The Walking Dead” finally released a trailer at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday.
“Fear the Walking Dead,” which appears to chronicle the beginning of the zombie apocalypse through the eyes of Los Angeles residents, premieres on August 23 on AMC.
The new series, which focuses on brand new characters, will make way for a sixth season of the original “Walking Dead” on October 11.
The residents of Alexandria — a safe haven from the walkers — begin to lose trust in Rick’s leadership in the trailer for the new season, which also debuted at Comic-Con.
Of course, which characters will actually survive this season remains anyone’s guess.
