DUBOIS – District Judge Patrick Ford presided over preliminary hearings July 2.
Charges against the following defendant were withdrawn
- Todd Douglas Freeland, 43, Clearfield, had been charged by the DuBois-based state police with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, careless driving and three summary charges.
The following defendants waived their right to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition
- Dustin L. Douthit, 29, Reynoldsville, is charged by the DuBois City police with fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, driving at unsafe speeds, reckless driving, criminal mischief and five summary traffic charges. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
- Gary Lynn Haag, 52, Luthersburg, is charged by the DuBois-based state police with assault and harassment. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
- Steven D. Gillis, 30, Harriman, Tenn., is charged by the DuBois City Police with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $50,000 monetary.
