Running Camp
Mahaffey Camp
For grades 7-12, the Mahaffey Running Camp is great conditioning and practice for anyone who wants to get into shape or train for cross country, track or any other sport.
The camp is open to runners of all experience levels. Running campers participate in daily group runs, cross training, nutrition seminars, strength and conditioning, form analysis, shoe clinics and more.

Intermediate Horse Camp
Mahaffey Camp
For ages 12-17 years, the Intermediate Horse Camp is designed for riders who have taken lessons and or attended Horse Camp in the past (and received certificate of eligibility for Intermediate level).
Campers participate in lessons and trail rides at the Hutton farm facility, in addition to fun late night activities, campfire worship and dynamic messages.
Campers will be instructed based upon Christian Camp Horsemanship International Standards; campers who successfully complete the requirements will receive certificates. Space is limited, so register early.

From bar stools to church pews, Scent of Water “will bring the message of truth” with a full throttle rock and country sound to the Corner Concert Series on Friday.

Treasure Lake
A Fourth of July celebration will be held Saturday at Treasure Lake; there will be family fun and games through the day. Also, there will be a poolside dinner, a Cayman golf cart parade and boat parade. A fireworks display will be held at dusk.
Farmer’s Market

A farmer’s market will be held every Saturday through October from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. It is held at the corner of Brady Street and Long Avenue in downtown DuBois and sponsored by the Downtown DuBois Revitalization Group.
Fish for Free Day
No fishing license is needed to fish on Fish-for-Free days. It’s a great way to introduce someone to the world of fishing. Check the state Fish and Boat Commission’s Web site for more information. Remember that all other regulations apply.
Coalport Flea/Farmer’s Market
The flea/farmer’s market will be open the first Saturday through October. Both markets are held from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Beechwood Park in Coalport; set up will begin at 6:30 a.m.
The flea market space is $15 per month. If you set up all six months, the cost for space is $50; you will get your first month free.
The farmer’s market spaces are limited to food products and plants; you provide your own tables, chairs, etc. The space costs $10 per vendor per day. If you sign up for all five months, it is $40; your first month is free.
