Fugitive of the Week: John Lytle, Jr.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of June 29, 2015.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as John Lytle, Jr., age 34, of Drane Highway,Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Lytle is wanted for failure to appear at a Pre-trial Conference on April 2, 2015.

On September 30, 2014, Trooper Michael Meko of the Pennsylvania State Police – Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Lytle with: 1) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, M; 2) Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, S; 3) Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, S; 4) Careless Driving, S; and 5) Restrictions on Alcoholic Beverages, S.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Meko states that on September 20, 2014, while on routine patrol, he observed a vehicle weaving in and out of its lane of travel.

Trooper Meko activated his emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop. Upon making contact with the operator, identified as Lytle, signs of impairment were observed.

Lytle was then transported to Clearfield Hospital for blood testing.

A Preliminary Hearing was scheduled for October 29, 2014, at which time the charges were held to court. On April 2, 2015, Lytle failed to appear at a pre-trial Conference.

Height:            5’10”

Eyes:               Brown

Hair:                Brown
