Christie launches presidential campaign website

Chris Christie hasn’t yet declared whether he’s running for President. But in the meantime, if you want to support his candidacy-in-waiting, you can go online and donate to Chris Christie for President, Inc.

The New Jersey governor on Saturday morning tweeted out several links to the new ChrisChristie.com, which asks visitors, “Are you ready?” and invites them to sign up and donate to his campaign.

The website’s launch comes one day after his campaign team sent invitations to supporters, inviting them to attend “presidential launch announcement and call day” on Tuesday in New Jersey, according to an invitation obtained by CNN.

As recently as Thursday, Christie said, “there’s been absolutely no final decision made by me” on his “Ask the Governor” radio program. And on Friday at the New Jersey State House, Christie refused to answer questions about his political future.

But the Chris Christie for President, Inc. invitation sent Friday afternoon by Ray Washburne, the Christie campaign’s finance chief, dispensed with any mystery about Chris Christie’s planned announcement on Tuesday.

As CNN’s Dana Bash reported, Christie is expected to head to New Hampshire shortly after his announcement in his boyhood hometown of Livingston, New Jersey for his first official campaign trip as a 2016 presidential candidate.
