TAYLOR TOWNSHIP – Adam D. Hinton, 25, of Port Matilda has been charged with 535 counts each of sexual abuse of children/possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography from an alleged incident in November of 2014, according to the state police at Philipsburg.
The charges against Hinton stemmed from a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) investigation using Bit Torrent, state police said. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair. Hinton was transported to the Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 straight bail.
