CLEARFIELD –The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advises Clearfield area drivers that night work is scheduled to take place tonight along Route 879 in Lawrence Township.
From 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., crews will be placing pavement markings on Route 879 between River Road and the Snappy’s/Industrial Park Road intersection. If necessary, the work will extend through Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
Drivers need to be alert for flaggers in the roadway, as alternate traffic patterns are enforced during work hours. Short travel delays should be expected. The pavement marking work is necessary as PennDOT’s signal improvement project through this corridor comes to an end.
