DUBOIS – On April 27, McDonald’s of DuBois partnered with Oklahoma Elementary to host a local “McTeacher Night.”
The school’s principal, Tammy Cook, along with teachers, Elizabeth Mohney, Amy Hewitt, Marji Montana, Vicki Miller, Cindy Marchioni, Becky Pasternak, Rachel Gies, and Lori DiLullo, came to work at their local McDonald’s restaurant greeting customers, working the registers, and, in some cases, assisting in the kitchen area with the preparation of food.
Families of students and local school supporters were invited to visit their local McDonald’s and support the fundraiser. Twenty percent of gross sales were donated back to the school for its participation. This donation to the school totaled $746.15.
“We are delighted to work with our local schools on this special evening to collectively raise money for education on behalf of McDonald’s,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator Fredric Beatty.
