CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the recipients of the CNB Bank Scholarship, which included Michaela Duez, a local student from Clearfield Area High School.
Duez is a member of the German Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars and National Honor Society. She is involved with her school’s choir, county choir, show choir, band front and yearbook committee.
She also performs in Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST) productions and was a state finalist in the 2015 Miss Pennsylvania pageant. In the fall, she plans to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania and major in human resource management.
CNB Bank is committed to the communities and businesses it serves, and is a proud supporter of the next generation of business leaders. In February, graduating high school seniors were invited to apply for the scholarship contest, which awarded each recipient with $500 to be used for continuing business education.
