Linda S. Siano, 67, of Morann died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born April 1, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio to Pauline L. (Kozak) Giza-Murawski of Morann and the late Peter Giza.
She was a 1966 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School.
She married her husband Peter W. Siano on Oct. 18, 1969 in the St. Barbara’s Catholic Church, Houtzdale.
She was a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church in Houtzdale, where she was a member of the choir. She was employed at Clearfield Hospital Home Health for 38 years.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert “Rob” Siano; a brother, Jerry Giza; and her step-father, Steve Murawski.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Pete; her mother, Pauline; her two sisters, Carol Menard of Clearfield and Peggy Slifko of Morann; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Friday at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with the Rev. Zab Amar and the Rev. Ron Gmerek as co-celebrants.
Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madera.
