Charles W. Bell, 58, of Philipsburg died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Veterans Administration Center in Pittsburgh.
Born Nov., 10, 1956 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the Late Richard and Ruth C. (Cunningham) Bell.
He was Protestant by faith and had served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Bell was the manager of the Philipsburg NAPA store, where he had been employed for 27 years. He was a 1974 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Watson and a nephew, Michael K. Bell.
He is survived by his fiancée, Rose Marie Stout; a daughter, Kierston M. Bell and her significant other, Curtis Maines of RD Osceola Mills; a son, Craig Bell of Osceola Mills; four brothers, Richard J. Bell and his wife, Linda of New Liberty, RD Philipsburg, Robert E. Bell and his wife, Lettie of Flinton, Thomas L. Bell and his wife, Mary Ann of Gearhartville, RD Philipsburg and Timothy L. Bell and his wife, Kelly of Osceola Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral home in Philipsburg, with the Rev Ted G. Seibert officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Military honors will be accorded by members of the Moshannon Valley Independent Honor Guard.
