CLEARFIELD – The staff and board members from Visit Clearfield County (VCC) unveiled their new marketing van Thursday at the Expo II Building at the Clearfield Driving Park.
Executive Director Holly Komonczi described the marketing van as not only a “mobile billboard,” but also as a “mobile visitor’s center” for Clearfield County.
She said although the van will be used to distribute VCC marketing materials locally, it’s been equipped with a television to promote tourism opportunities when traveling outside of Clearfield County.
According to her, the VCC will offer van banner advertising to local businesses and organizations to promote local events while the staff is out on the road.
Komonczi said the VCC marketing van started out as a plain white van but was customized by Full Throttle Signs of Clearfield.
