Alberta Ann Dixon, 92, a resident of Windy Hill Village and formerly of Point Lookout, Philipsburg, died Monday, May 11, 2015 at Windy Hill Village.
Born Jan. 13, 1923 in Woodland, she was a daughter of the late Chester A. and Ruth (Lumadue) Parks.
Mrs. Dixon was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Philipsburg. She was employed at the former Oasis Tavern and General Cigar Company until her retirement.
On Oct. 22, 1938 in Port Matilda, she married William B. Dixon. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1979.
Mrs. Dixon is survived by two sons, Gene A. Dixon and his wife, Georganne of Munson and Robert L. Dixon and his wife, Carol of Frenchville; a daughter, Janet L. Richner of Philipsburg; and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Dixon of Morrisdale RD.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her generation. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, William James Dixon; a son-in-law, Larry Richner; and an infant brother.
Private funeral services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, Philipsburg, at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
There will be no public visitation.
