Hope C. Wisor, 90, of Hyde died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born Jan. 3, 1925 in Bigler, a daughter of the late Clark and Elva (Kephart) Swisher.
Mrs. Wisor had worked for many years as a private personal caregiver for countless people and businesses around the Clearfield County area. She will certainly be remembered for her hard work ethic and love of her family.
Mrs. Wisor had attended the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield.
She is survived by four sons, Kevin Wisor Sr. and his wife, Joyce, James Wisor Jr., Thomas Wisor and Kimm Wisor, all of Clearfield; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Charity Baird of Lancaster County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Wisor Sr., on Feb. 5, 1994 and to whom she was wed April 14, 1955.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Dewey Swisher; a daughter-in-law, Charlene Wisor; and a brother-in-law, John Baird.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield, with the Rev. Stephen DeSantis and Pastor Brian Belinda officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery, Shawville.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
