State police at Clearfield
- An incident of harassment occurred Tuesday on St. Clara Street in Houtzdale. Further, the victim alleged to state police that a 53-year-old Houtzdale man had struck them in the head. Upon investigation state police found the man had struck the victim in the back of the head and charged him for the incident through the district court.
- An incident of burglary/theft by unlawful taking/criminal trespass occurred March 27 on Walnut Street in Smithmill. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s garage by forcing open the side door. Once inside they allegedly removed a chainsaw and an adjusting kit. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at DuBois
- An incident of harassment occurred Wednesday on Beechton Road in Snyder Township. During the incident, an 18-year-old Brockway man allegedly assaulted the victim. The man was charged for the incident through the district court, state police said.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of access device fraud occurred sometime April 15-16 on McKean Street in Unionville Borough. Further, the victim alleged to state police that the suspect made unauthorized purposes with their credit card.
State police at Punxsutawney
- Troopers from the state police at Punxsutawney will participate in a DUI checkpoint during the month of May. The checkpoint will focus on removing impaired drivers from the roadway, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted a motorist whose vehicle became disabled along Nichols Street. The Street Crew was able to assist police in removing the vehicle from the roadway.
- Police responded to West Side for an alleged theft complaint. The victim told police that items were removed from her porch.
- Police were dispatched to West Front Street for a suspicious male. Police determined that the male was in need of medical attention. Emergency personnel arrived and transported the male to the hospital for treatment.
- Police were dispatched to a business along River Road for a report about a dog that was left inside a vehicle. Police arrived and determined the dog wasn’t in distress. While on scene, the owner came out and advised she was leaving.
- Police were dispatched to the area of Fourth and East Pine streets, where teenagers were reportedly attempting to roll down the Pine Street hill. Police responded to make contact with teenagers.
- Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at the Skate Park and found it to be unoccupied.
- Police checked the area for a vehicle that may be operated by an individual who was under the influence of narcotics. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Police unlocked a vehicle along North Second Street for the owner who had locked their keys inside of it.
- Police initiated a vehicle stop for a traffic violation along Turnpike Avenue. Upon making contact with the occupants, police allegedly noticed an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. As a result of the stop, police allegedly located drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
- Police issued a citation to a male after an alleged incident along Nichols Street.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a noise complaint on Lawrence Avenue.
- Police received a report about an alleged DUI at a local business along Woodland Road. Police located the vehicle but not its driver. The DUI incident was listed as unfounded, police said.
- Police initiated an investigation into the alleged theft of prescriptions from a township residence.
- Police were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter for an alleged incident of disorderly conduct. Upon arrival the actor had already fled from the store.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute on State Street. Upon arrival police found residents had only engaged in a verbal argument.
- Police received a complaint about loud music in the area of Hill Street. Police made contact with the person responsible.
