Richard J. Lange, 73, of Treasure Lake, DuBois died Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Penfield.
Born July 11, 1941 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Julius and Erma (Kovacs) Lange.
On Nov. 9, 1963 in Morristown, NJ, he married Barbara Kruse. She survives.
He was the owner/operator of the Mister Donut Franchise in DuBois and Clearfield.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the American Bow Hunters Association. He was a past member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
He is survived by a daughter, Stacey Kirk and her husband, Robert and a son, Mark Lange and his wife, Sandra, both of DuBois.
He is also survived by two sisters, Diana Lance of Jupiter, Fla., and Barbara Brizell of Fort Mills, SC; five grandchildren, Justin Lange and his fiancée, Tanya, Aaron and Alysha Lange, Elias and Adam Kirk; and one great-grandchild, Paityn Lange.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Daryl Hunter Lange.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
