Ronald Travis, 76, a guest of the Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg, and formerly of Osceola Mills, died, Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the center.
Born Jan. 21, 1938 in Graham Station, rural Philipsburg, he was the son of Benjamin and Annamae (Distin) Travis.
He retired after being employed as a laborer in the coal mines.
He is survived by three daughters, Rose Reedy and Judy Furnandez, both of Lebanon, Patsey Travis of Harrisburg and seven grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Benjamin Travis of Clearfield and Carl Travis and his wife, Mildred of Houtzdale and three sisters, Bernice Dombrosky of Osceola Mills, Ruth Ann Teats of Houtzdale and Ilene Ball of Wrightsville.
Mr. Travis was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Dale and Tony Travis; his brothers, Henry, Francis, Russell, Robert, Larry and Dale Travis; and four sisters, Marjorie Harris, Bessie Travis, Charlotte Gregory and Marie Jane Harris.
There will be no public visitation or service. Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
