Mary M. Olosky, 70, of Curwensville died Friday, April 24, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Olosky was born Sept. 27, 1944 in Curwensville, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Mildred E. (Kramer) Moyer.
She had worked for Clearfield Cheese for 18 years. She retired from the Curwensville Area School District as a custodian.
Mrs. Olosky was a member of the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church of Curwensville.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was an avid country line dancer.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Olosky to whom she was married June 5, 1976, and two children, Corrina A. Ricketts and her husband, Dave of Ranson, W.Va., and Samuel J. Maney and his wife, Francine of Curwensville.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brian Ricketts and his wife, Tammy, Michelle Ricketts, Justin Maney and his wife, Hannah and Sierra Maney; four great-grandchildren, Brintin, Briley and Blaze Ricketts and Blaydron Cupano; a sister, Dorothy J. Young of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Olosky was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, James, Ronald, Lawrence, Robert and Howard Moyer; and four sisters, Kathrine Moyer, Betty Flanagan, Helen Strunk and Marjorie Van Scoyoc.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield. The rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a vigil service will be held at 6 p.m., both at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, Curwensville, with the Rev. Mark Mastrian as celebrant. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
