During the month of March, Penelec employees in Clearfield, Philipsburg and DuBois raised money and collected food as part of the annual ‘Harvest for Hunger’ program.

This year employees raised $1,785 for local food pantries.  Penelec began the Harvest for Hunger program in 2002 and locally have collected more than $18,500 over the past 14 years.

The CPCA manages the State Food Purchase Program budget for Centre and Clearfield counties.

Area food pantries have been struggling to meet the increasing needs of local residents. For more information on how you can help, please call Community Action at 814-765-1551.
